We believe that the overall development of your child's character begins with a partnership between home and school. Holy Cross is committed to providing your family with an extended support system as your child grows spiritually, emotionally and academically.  Our desire is that your child will thrive in the classroom and further develop their character through our fine arts and athletic opportunities. Come in for a tour and experience what your child can expect when they enroll at Holy Cross.  

Admissions Process

The first step in expressing interest in our school is to schedule a tour, which gives families the opportunity to learn more about our community, teaching environment, and beliefs. After attending a tour, families will receive the link to submit an application. Once an application is received and approved, our admissions director will schedule a time for the student to participate in an academic screening. This screening helps us to learn more about the student. After this step, all applicants are placed in a Waiting Pool. This means that every completed application is held for review, and as spaces become available, we evaluate candidates based on their full application and screening results to determine the best fit for our school community. Admission decisions are communicated in February after we have reviewed all applications.

Application Requirements
To complete an application, the following documents are required:

  • Most recent report card

  • Most recent ILEARN and/or IREAD scores

  • IEP (if applicable)

  • Teacher Recommendation – required for students applying to grades 6–8

These materials help us gain a comprehensive understanding of each applicant’s academic background and support needs. All documents must be submitted before the application can be considered complete.

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION!

  • This program is offered by the State of Indiana, eligibility and award guidelines as determined by the state. Qualifying income levels are up to 400% of the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. A 1040 Tax Form (p. 1) is required with this application. Additional forms will need to be completed provided this scholarship is awarded. 

  • Eligibility is determined by income level equal to 400% of the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program income levels provided by the State of Indiana. These amounts will be available once they have been provided to Holy Cross. A 1040 Tax Form (p. 1) is required with this application. Additional forms will need to be completed provided this scholarship is awarded. 

  • This scholarship is a needs-based scholarship based on active membership at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. This option is utilized when other scholarship opportunities do not apply. Amounts will be determined through a separate application.
